Won’t Someone Please Think of the Chickens!

If PeTA was an organization merely advancing their position, I don’t think I’d give them a second thought, let alone grant them the double barrelled 12 guage rant I’m about to unload, but they aren’t just animal lovers, they are douche bags of a sort rarely spotted outside of a club on a friday night. So, here it goes:

PeTA heard about the ghastly and ghoulish decapitation of all around nice guy Tim McLean and thought in their pea-sized publicity whore minds: how can we make this about us? Only someone with the IQ of an eggplant could read about Tim’s horrific death and write this:

“Manitoba. An innocent young victim’s throat is cut . . . His struggles and cries are ignored. The man with the knife shows no emotion . . . The victim is slaughtered and his head cut of . . . His flesh is eaten. It still goes on!”

Sure, chickens have it rough, what with being roasted in a nice white wine sauce and served with a nice sauvignon blanc, but they are CHICKENS for goodness sake. They are dirty smelly birds, yes birds. I refuse to feel sorry for them. Tim McLean, by contrast is what’s known as a ‘human’, which I think earns him somewhat more respect than my dinner. PeTA might have problems with that point, insofar as their birkenstock wearing, tofu eating, keeper using, pot-smoking, supporters and employees share the overwhelming stench that chickens carry with them. When you smell that bad, its easy to be confused as animals yourselves.

Not only that, but PeTA are what’s known as massive, earth shattering hypocrites. Since 1998 PeTA has been responsible for the deaths of 14 419 animals, mostly dogs and cats. They take in animals to ostensibly place them with families for adoption. Since 1995 they took in 17 806 animals. For those who passed grade 4 math, you can easily compute that this means that they ’saved’ only 3378 of the animals they took in, and that not one of those animals had any purpose to its death. No one was nourished by them. No lives were saved by using them for medical research. For a bunch of whackjobs who think eating chicken is the same as cannibalism, they sure have no problem with what their ideology considers ‘mass murder’. Dogs and cats euthanized because they have space free in their 9300$ freezer, and killing them costs less than trying to find them a home. After all, PeTA has bigger priorities, such as comparing eating pork to the holocaust.

They’re against animal medical research, saying: “even if animal research resulted in a cure for AIDS, we would be against it.” Of course, that’s easy for her to say, she’s not a diabetic. Her Vice President is, and she’s still anti-animal testing with life giving insulin coursing through her veins, freshly injected every morning. As a diabetic, she’d be dead without that product of animal testing, a medicine which includes animal by-products.

This whole ad campaign stems from their ideological framework in which humans are actually LESS than animals: “Homelessness drives me crazy! I take responsibility for everything that happens to me. Everyone can pull themselves up. I have more sympathy for animals because they don’t deserve anything that happens to them. They’re innocent.” So, its ok to piss on the memory of a nice, fun loving guy like Tim McLean, who was savagely attacked by some psychopathic whackjob, after all he probably ate meat. The Chicken on a plate is more important than him. PeTA are nothing but skidmarks on the underwear of society. A bunch of publicity whores worse than Paris Hilton, worse than the Brett Farve saga, worse than trying to figure out where Mats Sundin will sign. Good lord, these pricks need to be smacked upside the head. Somewhere along the lines they had the part of their brains that controls ‘empathy’ removed. Who cares about Tim McLean’s family, lets take out massive ads in the newspaper comparing him to a Chicken. Let’s offend Christians by saying that Jesus was a vegetarian. Won’t someone please think of the chickens! They are walking, talking advertisements for trepanation.
